Alghamrawy – the ESFB Manager Director signed in 27/6/2004 a 202
million American dollars finance contract to finance a new project
(Helwan Fertilizers Company) for producing 635.000 tones of
fertilizers. The company will export 50% of the production, and
the other 50% will be reserved for local consumption.
The ESFB bank has signed this contract in participation with the
following Egyptian banks:
- Misr International Bank.
- Misr Banque.
- National Societè General Bank
- HSBC Misr Bank.
- The International Arab African Bank
- Alexandria Bank
- Arab Limited Bank
- USA Arab Italian Bank
This project is one of three factories established recently by the
government to eliminate the problem of fertilizers raising prices
in local market.
This project occupies the third rank in Egypt Because of the
modern technology it uses.
The bank also has made a long term agreement with Helwan Company
for 5 Years for marketing at least 50% of the company production
(350.000 tones annually) beginning from 2007 (the actual
production) .
